This site is made for all Elm City residents who are sick and tired of the antics of City Hall and the Mayor's reluctance to put taxpayers first and his own politics aside for the betterment of the City.

Start at Home City Hall!

How? By cutting down costs and waste in City Hall through bloated over-paid executive staff salaries and ELIMINATING the contractors. Why? Because City Hall is supposed to serve the public. Us. Me and you. Your neighbors. Your family. Not the other way around. Political favors cost money - our money.

Public Responsibility

Get involved. Make phone calls. Go to your alderperson. Go to public meetings and hearings. Ask City Hall for fiscal documents under the Freedom of Information Act. Understand where your General Fund dollars go. Make your voices heard. Stand up! Haven't you had enough of this administration worrying about politics instead of spending public money wisely? There is a death grip on our City, don't let them strangle us anymore. The evidence is right there in front of you in City Hall - all you have to do is ask for it.

Purpose

This site is dedicated to making a better New Haven - despite the current administration wasting your tax dollars.

Credo

The makers of this public forum do not care what color you are, who you pray to, who you sleep with, what section of New Haven you live in or how much money you have. If you contribute to the General Fund and pay taxes you have an equal say here.

Method

By educating the public about the financial situation in the City of New Haven, the purpose of the General Fund and the direct impact the current administration has on the quality of your life in New Haven and your family's well being.

To get City Hall to stop wasting our money by involving taxpaying residents and resident employees of the City of New Haven into voicing their opinions about the Destefano administration by public forum, debate and aldermanic intervention.
